A Little Bit About Me


I always love the “About Me” page on websites… they’re such a joy to read, especially when it’s written as if it were in the third person. So in the interest of keeping it real, I’ll skip all the nonsensical third party stuff.

 

Hi, my name is Lusabara Essau,  I’m not going to brag to you about my business 😉. I just want to share with you my personal story and how I became a full-time network marketer.

 

I love our industry.  Many people will not understand that, but I know a few of you will.

 

What I love most about this industry is helping others, the personal development, the ability to be your own boss and call your own shots, working from a laptop anywhere in the world, and the residual income.

 

I joined this great industry in July 2009.

 

My experience in this industry is similar to most people.  It has not been easy for me. It has been a constant, up-hill challenge. I mentally quit thousands of times. I even physically quit a few times.

 

Despite the difficulty I had for many years, the industry has always been appealing to me. It’s always drawn me back in.  It’s like a disease I couldn’t get rid of.  I truly believe that once you learn about, and understand residual income, it never leaves your blood.  You will spend the rest of your life trying to create it, and rightfully so.


I knew that if I stuck with it, I would eventually figure out how succeed in network marketing.  My journey to success took longer than most, but I am so glad I stuck it out.

 

When you really stop and think about it, how many businesses offer you the following things:

Residual income (this one thing alone makes it worth it, everyone needs residual income)

Leverage without employees or money

A three to five-year plan to complete financial freedom

Work from anywhere in the world

Low start up costs, less than a few hundred bucks

Travel

The company does the customer service, deliveries, refunds, product development and sends you a check each month

Let me start by telling you that I am NOT rich.  I don’t have 500,000 people on my team (but, I’m working on that). I’m not a guru, although I am quite knowledgeable about the industry.  I am simply an average, hard working, determined, committed person who made the decision to get started and make this my profession.

When I first joined the industry, I was just like every other beginner. I had no confidence, zero experience and had no clue to what I was doing.

 

As you know, in order to make money in this industry, I had to eventually sell products to someone, which is obviously the definition of a business.

 

But I hated selling and recruiting. I was horrible at it. … And still I am 🙂

 

I was super shy and very introverted, and the thought of talking to a prospect in person, or over the phone petrified me.

 

I thought they would judge me. I thought they would reject me, or that I was being a nuisance and they’d get mad at me.

 

The first six months were a miserable failure. I’d go to hotel meetings, post fliers on phone polls, cold call lead lists, and drop “sizzle cards” in mall parking lots. Anything and everything that might work. In doing so…

 

I literally lost $$$$ in phone calls, the so-called marketing books, courses and other marketing expenses. Don’t get me wrong, I did make some money but I was losing more money than I was making. It really sucked.

 

I felt like a dog who was trying to chase its own tail.

If you have been there, you know what I mean… You know you’re busy doing a lot of work but somehow you don’t manage to move anywhere.

 

After committing about one year, I decided to take a short break from the industry… I left the business for personal reasons. One major mistake in my life 🙁

 

During the next FIVE YEARS, I bounced around to two kinds of traditional businesses: boutique and later supplying timbers.

 

But it wasn’t.

 

It just didn’t come natural to me. I wasn’t enjoying it, I struggled and eventually my business folded and again I quit.

 

I was in a VERY BAD place in my mind at that point, and I was starting to get depressed…

 

It’s like yesterday, I remember spending hours at night just thinking to myself… about how I blamed myself for losing all that money…

 

Later, I founded a technology company (it’s another story), but to be honest… At the time, I HATED the way my life was…

But fortunately life has a funny way of bringing you back again… doesn’t it..?

 

It was time to start again!

 

Again in May 2015 I picked up my phone and called my mentor and upline told him that I have decided to give another shot 🙂

 

The main reason was because of social media’s growth usage. I thought it could be easier for me using social medias recruiting new reps.

Unfortunately… again, I did what most people were doing… I started posting links and telling people about my products online, in forums or on social media sites which just pissed them off.

 

I was trying building my business using outdated ways like almost everyone doing in this industry.

 

I couldn’t figure out why other people could take the exact same product or service and sell millions of it, while I couldn’t make a single sale.

 

I’d constantly have to fight back the thought that I’m just not cut out for building a business, and that I just don’t have what it takes.

 

Once again, I committed to the following biggest mistakes:

While it’s embarrassing to put these down on my website for everyone to read, my hope is that you can learn from what I did wrong so you don’t make the same mistakes that I did.



While I made a lot of mistakes, hated the thought of selling and my constant failure at it, I hated the thought of being broke for the rest of my life even more, there is one thing I did right. I decided to look for a solution: I worked on my personal development.  I took the time to develop the right skill-set and mind-set.  I worked on my attitude, my leadership skills, my communication skills, my marketing skills, my network marketing skills.

 

And then come to figured out two things:

First, I absolutely hated pitching my business to people, whether they were friends and family members. The whole process just made me sick. If you have been there, I’m sure you can relate.

 

Second, in order to become rich, I knew I would need to sell a lot of stuff to a lot of people… and that was going to be difficult given the fact that I only had few hours each day to build my business…

 

So the bottom line was, I needed to figure out how I could show the business to 1000 per day, instead of 10 people per day, which meant there was only one solution…

 

I needed to clone myself and yes I eventually figured out a way to do it. Now let me share…

 

While everyone else in the industry was learning how to prospect on the phone, answer objections, get people to meetings, hand out CDs, or invite people to online presentations…

 

I started searching easy ways to build my Home Business online and I found some Entrepreneurs that actually had found ways to attract buyers and reps through the Internet… Exactly what I wanted to do!

 

To be honest, learning the Internet side of marketing your Business is not easy but it’s worth it.

Then I finally came up with idea of developing the Revolutionary Business Automation Marketing (BAM)technology to make process easy for my team build our business using internet.

 

Why Building BAM?

 

We are over a DECADE into the 21st century, and the old “tried and true” methods will soon become as outdated as the Pony Express.

 

With what we have at our disposal today, it’s INSANE to continue and rely on these dying and quite frankly, painful tactics, and not leverage the technology you have at your finger tips.
