One of the questions he asked was, “What should I focus on most to get my business off the ground?”
Here was my advice to him, and to you…
Don’t make things harder than they need to be.
Step 1: Focus on building an email list. Why email? Because it works. (And yes, as you’ll see below, it still performs better than social media). Your list IS YOUR BUSINESS. (More on that later!)
Step 2: Build a great relationship with the people on that list by delivering value. A list by itself is worthless, which is why you must build one from scratch, instead of buying one. The value of your list is directly proportional to the quality of the relationship that you have with your readers.
Step 3: Market solutions to your readers that will help them accomplish their goals and solve their problems.
So how can YOU do that? How you can you build your email list from scratch, and most importantly, how you can do it while making money, instead of spending it?
